HØM Psicometría

The project explores humidity as a transversa concept that manifests itself in space and time, addressing its perceptual complexity and its capacity for transformation. It's conceived as a physical and sensory presence that can be experienced through the five senses, and whose mutable nature allows for multiple material and symbolic interpretations.

The proposal translates this idea into two aesthetic approaches: in the women's look, humidity is represented through the adherence of plastic to the skin, using the manipulation of plastic materials as a means of visual and tactile expression. In the masculine look, it is interpreted from a more organic perspective, evoking dense, fungal moisture through textures inspired by mould and fungi, which refer to an uncertain and constantly changing temporality.

The result is a heat-moulded plastic dress on a mannequin, layered over a silk strapless dress, accompanied by a cotton knit T-shirt and trousers with a mould-effect textile technique and a V-shaped waistband.

In this way, the collection offers a comprehensive interpretation of humidity as a sensory and conceptual phenomenon, reflecting both its tangible presence and its mutable nature, and consolidating an approach that connects technique, materiality and aesthetic expression.
